at http://www.freewebs.com/hopeequinerescue/index.htm
for additional information or contact Julia Marshall at (863) 559-4589 or
by email at rubyjuju7@yahoo.com. *** The horse featured here
is a 7 year old Standard Bred name Wal E. He was originally
taken in by a lady who had rescued him but she herself fell in some hard
times and turned to Hope Equine Rescue to take him in. Hope Equine
Rescue was able to pull up Wal E's background from the tattoo that he
has. He was born at on of the leading Standardbred farms and was
sold as a yearling. He was brought to Florida to race as a
Pacer. He ran in 57 races and won a little over $40,000. When
Wal-E went lame he was sold among several horse brokers. The last of
his care givers left him and two other horses to starve to death.
Wal- E's real name is Haggis Hanover. He has tons of personality and
is going to make someone a really cool horse.
